How many sweeps do you typically enter?

Still in my slump, I started data collecting because that's what I do. It's about as helpful as figuring out what you get paid per hour when you work overtime on salary but still, I do that too. Anyway, I typically enter 15-20 sweeps per day with many more on the weekends. Also, I do ten or less instant wins per day. It made me wonder, how many does everyone else enter? Another thing I wondered is: I enter only sweeps that I want to win the prize or know someone who wants the prize directly. How many times do you guys enter to win things just to win? I've thought about switching up my strategy to get some wins for odds sake but am unsure how common that is.

That is the curse of being a geek. I don't get depressed for losing, I get statistical. ;)
 
lol apower - I'm the opposite - thinking about how it's NOT possible is just too depressing :crazytongue: :whistle:
 
I only enter for prizes that I want (or that I might want to give as gifts to my parents). I like big and small prizes, when I am not winning I will enter blog sweepstakes for smaller prizes that make me happy (soaps, books, cleaning products, etc). When I am in a slump, winning a bar of soap or lip gloss really keeps me motivated to keep entering!!

When I am not winning, I try to enter different kinds of sweepstakes-blog, twitter, fb, pinterest, or local.

Right now I am entering 87 sweepstakes daily (a mix of instants and non-instants), plus my weekly and monthly sweepstakes. I usually do my one-entries over the weekend.

On that subject,

When you guys say you enter like 100 sweeps a day, are you counting daily sweeps (ones you have already entered) or do you mean NEW sweeps each day because that would change my answer! :scratch:
 
how often are you guys winning if you are entering 100 times a day? or even 10 times a day? I just started. My first day I entered 100 different ones, anything whether i was interested or not. I ended up winning a 200 dollar jacket the next day. I entered some more, maybe 50 more sweeps. Then the next day I won a nice wine gift basket.

I've probably entered 60 - 100 more since (been about 5 days) and haven't won anything else yet but I know a lot of the deadlines haven't passed.

Has anyone won any vacations? I'm trying to get one for my parents but am entering for smaller towns through facebook sweeps and actual contests.

I win pretty frequently a when I am entering everyday..My wins really drop off when things get busy with school/life and I dont have time to enter every day.


I won a trip to universal studios in Florida, I actually won that from a one-entry sweeps from CBS.

I meant with the daily sweeps you have already entered. I don't have a whole lot of time to enter through the week so I only enter daily, weekly, monthly and one time on the weekends unless they're new. So, typically, I enter all of my regular instant wins and all of the new sweeps for the day, every day. I also bookmark daily contests where I really want the prize and enter them every day. On the weekend, I peruse through all of the daily/weekly/monthly and one entry sweeps to see what I would like to win and re-enter any that I can. Some Saturdays, that comes out around 200 entries. As for winning, I won two gift cards for $20 back in September and a $25 from Lindt in November and that has been it. I do win phone in radio contests a lot, though, so that makes up for it. :)

I don't enter any contests for vacations because we are a family of 9 and both my wife and I work full time. Coordinating a family trip takes way too much planning already, I wouldn't want to imagine having to plan one of the vacations with the travel window. That would be a nightmare for us.
 
:wave:I do prob 500 dailies and another 2-300 new ones, and all my instants, unlimited and 24 hour ones each day. I do between 7-900 sweeps a day. no trips though unless they are driveable I do not fly or do cruises.
 
Depending on the day, I enter about 50 (or more) on my days off and these include dailys, one-time and IW's. On workdays, I probably only get to 20-30 entries. I do enter for trips as well as cash, cars, techno prizees. I do not enter those that are for a $5000 wardrobe - don't want to pay the taxes on those!! Still waiting for a big win!!
 
jhooker WOW that is crazy amazing

I feel like i spend a ton of time sweeping, but I usually only get in around 150ish per day, I have tons more saved for my daily sweeps for that day when I have extra time but it never seems to come :hammer:
 
:wave:Well I am a retired Nurse. and this is my entertainment. I spend most of my day on the comp doing sweeps. My grandchild is in school all day so I have lots of spare time, between housework to do my fav hobby. I hit the floor about 5:30 am every day and I get about 150-200 done before I get my grandchild off to school. hahah.
 
:wave:I do prob 2-300 new ones each day, than about 4-500 reg dailies including my big big sweeps that are 5000.00+, than i do weekly, and monthly. I aver about 2-300 new sweep per day than I re-enter all my dailies which are about 4-500+.
