Select 55 Winner

I got a message saying I won a $55 gift card for the Select 55 sweepstakes, but it instructed me to mail a copy of my gov't issued ID to a MN address. Does this sound right? I'm assuming I need to do it b/c its an alcohol sponsored contest, but I don't want to send it without confirming this should be done.
 
Awesome win!!! Right on time before the holidays. I think some other winners mentioned they had to send their i.d. You may want to check other posts to be sure. Congratulations on a great win :cheers:
 
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, its not in time for the holidays because the "win" message indicated it would take up to 8 weeks for me to receive the gift card.
 
It seems logical that you'd have to show proof of being of legal age to participate in an alcohol-related sweep. I live in California so all sweeps involving alcohol are off-limits for me. :cry: Oh well. Congrats to you! :cheers:
 
Can you post the address? I won too but my computer freaked out at the tell a friend section and I never got that far... Other's have said something about mailing a copy of an id too.
