Would love to win a computer so I can enter from home! Right now I'm staying a little late each night to use my work computer.
 
i shouldn't complain but i am i did have 2 instant wins but mostly i get extra entries or discount codes.........i want a nice prize and i want a good prize from the sweeps to lol

Uggggg I'm so frustrated. It's been 2 years of sweeping and yes I've won lots of prizes which I am tremendously grateful for,but I still haven't won anything big. I really could use a big win right now so much is going wrong I need a little "right" in my life. So this is my official whine for 2010. Big win please pretty please come my way I need you!
 
I'll add my bricks to this wall also. I am two month's into this sweepstakes thing and haven't won a thing yet. I guess I will keep my day job?
 
I find it difficult to whine about dry spells since I am still wet behind the ears about all of this sweeping business. :] However, I am seriously beginning to judge my own ability to pick the right sweeps to enter, since the only replies I ever get in my inbox are from people who claim to have large quantities of money in an account for me somewhere overseas...uh,..right. So, my whine is that I think I might just be the worlds worst (and clueless) sweeper ever! However, I do a dang good job filling up my spam mail with the CRAP I sign up for (no prizes for that though...lol). Ahh...such is life. :cry:
 
I recently started sweeping about a month ago and I wouldn't mind whining a bit too, lol. The only thing I've won is the toaster strudel iwg and the quicken loans iwg but the only way I won those was by doing it for my bf on his account, he's definitely a lot luckier than I am! My wins total a whopping $46 but I guess it's better than nothing. My bf thinks I'm wasting my time with these things but it's the only way I can get things I want or need. Hopefully one of these days I'll win a grand prize or something that's not considered junk! Good luck to all and hopefully we'll all hit our winning streak soon :sunny:
 
Hi. :wave: Let me share my thoughts. I have been entering sweeps and contests for 2 years and I've won a $168 dollar purse from Ellington, a Canon 14.1 MP camera from Kaboodle.com, a Sony E-reader from OK! magazine, and some other prizes less than $30 including a "Happy Smile" bouquet from 1-800-FLOWERS. I'm not a big fan of watching TV so at least I justify entering the sweeps as "possible?" productive time spent. I am in the midst of a slump with recent small wins that include 2 months' of Pillsbury strudels, Mike and Ike candy, $10 Texaco GC, Sears $20 GC, and a KarmaLoop GC for $25. I keep hoping the big one is coming. Good luck to all of you. Everything is from the "Grace" of God. :sunny:

I am starting to think I am not a "winner". Some people just are, and it would appear that I am not.
I am so thrilled yet jealous of all the BK Kinect winners. I play IWG's every day and never win a darn thing.
Not toaster strudels, not a Kinect, no philosophy, no iPad from AAA, no dearfoams, no cheerios. Nada.
After the IWG's, I enter roughly 100 sweeps a day, religously. Nada. :cry:

Don't give up. The IW's you mention are not easy to win at all. Some have very few prizes. To quote Amy S., "It's all about timing," if you enter at the right time, you win, but no one knows when that time is (until after you have won!). You could try varying the time you enter; mix it up a little.

Some people just want to win anything, or really can use all kinds of things and enter tons of sweeps, across all categories. Others are more selective and enter less, but when they win, it is usually something meaningful to them.

We are all different, but it helps to be patient and persistent. Eventually, you will win. It does seem like people win after they grumble in this forum, so hopefully it will work for you! :cheers:

If you are just eager for a win, you could look for sweeps that give away lots of prizes, or sweeps that have shorter running periods.

Ok, now it is my turn to whine! ( Actually I would like to wine and cheese :laughing: ) My wins for 2010 are wayyyy down and my wins for November are all but non existant! So I am officially whining, feeling sorry for myself, feeling jealous of those who do win :error: and thinking of taking up drinking as a hobby instead of entering sweeps. So, if anyone has any extra fairy dust or magic powder, please send some my way. But part of my lack of wins in Nov could be that since my DH was injured in an auto accident on the 6th of Nov I haven't been able to enter with my usual fury. But, hey, I am whining just the same!!! :headbang:
