whiner's wall

I must REALLY be needing a win....last night I dreamt VIVIDLY that I won an instant win contest and the prize was TWO brand new cars.....in my dream I stared at the winning screen and started laughing and crying, so happy that my dry streak was over.....it was so REAL!!!!! I almost expected to see a winning screen today when I played (obviously not for two cars....lol) but it was not to be...such a bummer!!!! This economy is really cramping my sweeping style!!! :cussing: :laughing:

Ok I'm whinng n hopes that will win something anything been a long dry spell and need a win to get me out of this depressing mood im in
 
Have any of you ever tried to enter contest with bad eyes and a computer that crashes every 10-20 minutes. Never try to save the whales the whalers are expert hackers. grumble. ARGHHHH Here it goes.
 
I got JACKEd out of my net spend g/c win... remember the one where u slid a credit card into the machine and the baseball would go either first base, foul ball etc.? Well I had won.. albeit a small win... $10 debit card and the rules said if you don't already have a card we will send you one. Well, they sent it and when I went to register it the lady told me NO ONE SWIPED IT B4 THEY MAILED IT TO YOU. Meaning it is as usless as if u grabbed one of the cards from a grocery store and didnt swipe it when u pd for it. So after being put on hold over and over again I was told to mail it back blah blah and they would re-send it. I specifically asked who do I attention it to etc... no one I was told. Wrote a whole big letter and since it went to a P.O. box --I couldn't send it certifed ... besides by the time I would have been done w/all that the $10.00 would have been like 4.00. So I mailed it regular mail.... and NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING. I guess I am glad as heck it was not a big win as then I would be really bummed!

Thats my whine. Now all I need is a little cheese to go with it! :laughing:
 
I'm really starting to get discouraged here. I've entered so many sweeps over the past year and 1/2 and have only won one small prize that wasn't an instant win. I'm starting to wonder if it's even worh it to spend hours and hours entering. What's really sad is that I was dreaming about winning money the other day so I can go see a dentist! I should be dreaming about taking vacations etc. and all I really want to do is get a tooth pulled and pay my bills :( whine whine whine.....
 
Sweeps are mostly chance, I used to spend a roll of stamps each months to enter (Add that cost up) and yes I did win but people are not getting these are free on internet and there is no obligation for us to win, . Roll the dice and take a chance. One of the last free things we can get. If We kep bi%ching at sponsers they may pull out of sweeps. They do not have to service us and I am forever greatful for even a t-shirt. Let's try and calm down and use this as a fun tool. I suggest that we stop complaining and just have fun. Then the rewards roll in. Hey ask your neighbor, you got a shirt and he did not because he did not enter. Enjoy and be thankful we have SA . So don't complain if rhe wheel says something and you don't win . We are fortunate to be able to enter. They are under NO obligation to give us a prize. You do not want spam emails then do not enter. They are trying to promote their busuness

Well, I'm back again!! It has been a looooong dry spell! I know it is partly my fault because I do not enter sweeps that I don't need or want. However, it still leaves quite a few especially the Instant Wins. I can't win an Instant Win if my life depended on it! I try to keep in mind that the entry is for a bigger win but I still can't help being disappointed. I guess that is why Instant Wins are my least favorite sweeps to enter.
I guess that is enough WHINING for now. Wish me luck that my luck will change!

My wins have been few and far between this year but I haven't gave up yet. 2008 and 2009 were very good years for me for winning and I'm hoping 2010 picks up soon!!

It has really helped to read on the winners wall and see that people ARE winning!! Good luck everyone :) Jeff

I enter over 100 sweeps a day,7 days a week,for the last 6 months.\
Have not won a single thing!!!!

STILL haven't won anything. It's been over a year. :cry:

Any little thing will make me happy at this point. I'm exhausted from working two jobs, but that seems to be the norm for a lot of people these days. My landlord - a man I've known my whole life - died last month and one week to the day after his funeral his family put the building on the market. He was such a nice guy that he gave me a break on the rent because he knew I wasn in financial trouble - low-paying job plus paying off the classes I took a couple of years ago, huge medical bills, and lots of repairs on a 12-year-old car. Whoever buys the building will up the rent to market value, I am sure, and on the low end that is about double what I am paying now. Terrified I won't be able to find anything else and don't know how I can earn more money. There aren't enough hours in the week for another job!

I could use a nice win to boost my spirits. Of course, a win of about $50k will solve a lot of my problems! :laughing: But I don't really expect that. A nice weekend away would do a lot for morale, though.
