Do you believe in the rapture? Yes I do and as a Christian I think it will be soon. We do not know when but if we look around us it's amazing the signs are here. Who would have ever thought we'd be seeing signs of a one world government or so many other signs. What do we do in the meantime. We preach this gospel and we wittness. As long as the Holy Spirit is in this earth there is still time to save the lost. Lead by example and preach the Bible. If you don't believe what I'm saying read the Bible. If you don't believe the Bible pray that God will open your eyes. God is love and he is coming back to rule and reign on the earth Amen.
Are we living in the last days? I believe that we are because of what we have been seeing for about 50 years now. I haven't been saying all this to scare anyone because with Christ we do not have fear. I am saying all this to keep everyone thinking about what has been happening and where we are going. God is good and he does love all of us but he makes it clear there will be rough times ahead. My prayer today is that we keep looking up because he is our redeemer. I don't see his return as an escape. I see it as a new begining.Praise him for he is worthy. Be conforted everyone he is in control.
I don't like that number so I skipped that post. :laughing: Maybe it's silly but just one of those things.
Today I'm going to ask that you would say a prayer for me. Help me to be able to get this message across in the best way possible. That I am able to reach a lot of people without blurring the truth of God's message to all of us. I consider this a ministry and I want to be able to show God's love for everyone. He is love but he also is going to judge this earth for it's sins. He has to judge because he hates sin. We are all sinners who are saved by grace if we accept his gift. I hope and pray that I am doing my best to teach his love and to teach his message. I'm not a preacher but I do love him so much that I have to talk about him and worship him in every way I know how.

Born again since 1996. I agree we are blessed no matter what comes our way. I am so thankful to be able to share God's word each day. God is good.Lord we lift you up and we give you praise. We serve you alone and we are waiting with hope on you. This life that you have given us here on earth is a gift and we should be thankful for every lesson we learn along the way.I believe when we face trials or joy it is a learning experience. When someone gets sick maybe it's happening to get your attention for one reason or another. I know in all things I will worship him. We must be thankful for all that life has given us because with Christ beside us we are victorious. Think of Job. He suffered at the hands of Satan and he lost everything but he would not turn his back on God. In the end Job was rewarded double for his devotion to God. We must never turn our backs on God. He is in control and if we love him and have accepted his gift of Jesus we will overcome. We must serve him also for he is worthy. He is God Amen.
Just got back into Houston today so I'm runing late. I had a blessed day today and I hope you all did too. Be a source of encouragement to those who need it. Be a sister or a brother for those who don't have one and be a friend to a stranger. We are God's children and we should walk upright before him to let everyone see him in us. Walk the walk and talk the talk.

[A Psalm] of David.
1UNTO YOU, O Lord, do I bring my life.
2O my God, I trust, lean on, rely on, and am confident in You. Let me not be put to shame or [my hope in You] be disappointed; let not my enemies triumph over me.
3Yes, let none who trust and wait hopefully and look for You be put to shame or be disappointed; let them be ashamed who forsake the right or deal treacherously without cause.
4Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths.
5Guide me in Your truth and faithfulness and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You [You only and altogether] do I wait [expectantly] all the day long.
6Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercy and loving-kindness; for they have been ever from of old.
7Remember not the sins (the lapses and frailties) of my youth or my transgressions; according to Your mercy and steadfast love remember me, for Your goodness' sake, O Lord.
8Good and upright is the Lord; therefore will He instruct sinners in [His] way.

1THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.
2He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters.(A)
3He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him--not for my earning it, but] for His name's sake.
4Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.
5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with [a]oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.
6Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.
Here is an interesting footnote
Psalm 23:5 It is difficult for those living in a temperate climate to appreciate, but it was customary in hot climates to anoint the body with oil to protect it from excessive perspiration. When mixed with perfume, the oil imparted a delightfully refreshing and invigorating sensation. Athletes anointed their bodies as a matter of course before running a race. As the body, therefore, anointed with oil was refreshed, invigorated, and better fitted for action, so the Lord would anoint His "sheep" with the Holy Spirit, Whom oil symbolizes, to fit them to engage more freely in His service and run in the way He directs--in heavenly fellowship with Him.

I wonder why Psalm 23 is recited at funerals. To me it's a psalm of life.It is encouraging and reminds me how special I am to God. It is a psalm of his unfailing love he has for us. There are so many verses like this throughout the Bible. When we read them how can we not feel protected and loved. God will never disappoint us but man will. Turn to God and let him love you.
Sorry I missed yesterday but I was so busy. It's funny how you meet Christians everywhere you go. There have been times when I am out and about and I meet other Christians no matter where I go. People who have come to my home to install cable or just service workers. At Home Depot, at car dealerships. Just about everywhere. All it takes is a short conversation with someone and you find out that they love the Lord. I honestly believe we are being drawn together in these last days for a reason. I had a car dealer who drove our car yesterday who heard the Christian radio station on the radio in my car and that's all it took. Let your light shine and allow others to see Christ in and around you. We need to be about our Father's business. God bless.
