how do I know if a win is real?

Hi,

I received notification that I won a trip. This is my first big prize and I need to submit a w-9. I am a little nervous, how do I know if it is legit?

Its kinda hard to say without knowing more details . do you remember entering that sweep or can you find it in the expired sweeps? are they just asking that you get it notarized? If so that is pretty common with the bigger prizes.. If they are asking for money I would be concerned.

MY guess is that if it is written on toilet paper it's no good.

Thank you for your help. I guess it is for real. I won a trip to Africa sponsored by Fox. I am so excited! I just have to have a publicity release/eligibility form notarized and then I am off on my Safari!
