What different do the captcha codes make?

Those weird graphic squigglies that are typed in manually by humans, to prevent bot entries.
I understand what they are and why they use them.
Why would that stop you from entering a contest?

Because Classic Heartland, as it is now, is easy to enter but the odds are poor and very few people have reported a win. Making it complicated and time consuming to enter many of those daily would not be cost effective in my opinion. Each person has to decide for themselves which contests are worth giving time to, and I feel that Classic Heartland is not worth a lot of my time.

If my memory is correct about a year or so ago the mod. amyshulk said she won one of the Classic Heartland Sweeps. Amy, Please correct me if you see this post and I'm wrong. But pretty sure she did. Other than that I have not seen any other people post here on SA that they were a winner. I never enter because looking at the number of "hits " people must enter for everyone in their family and probably even their pets.
