Netwinner Issue

UGH! Netwinner was so great in the beginning! What happened? They have sucky mods there, the most ignorant people i have ever seen!
Im taking down my banners for netwinner too. I am no longer supporting them!

Boy, I'm glad I found this on the SA forum, I have been trying to get an answer form Netwinner when I still haven't received my debit cards since Jan. But what does it mean they are converting our cash into points? Points for what, if they can't be redeemed for cash, is there a prize area where you can trade them in for something? Those comments from those mods really tick me off, if they didn't have people like us playing, they wouldn't have jobs either. I'm disabled and can't work, so I do a lot of things online that help supplement my meager income. Very ignorant, well, what goes around , comes around. Thanks everyone at SA for finding out the info.

Liz

Looks like they threw the baby out with the bathwater while attempting to renege on their promises to HONEST players? :nono:

I re-read my comment above. I kinda feel bad for what i said. Im upset about netwinner, but not that upset. They arent ignorant, just unprofessional. Hope i didnt offend anyone.
I dont belive them when they say 40% were breaking the rules. I didnt win enough to play the full 100 plays a day. It will just hurt them because i know most will stop playing. One of my referrals had over $400 saved up. I dont think she ever cashed out and she played everyday.

This thread is veddy, veddy interesting. I signed up with them when people were talking about them here, and played a couple of games. It ran slow for me, even though I have FIOS high speed, and found the games to be a dull waste of time. I like to enter sweeps quickly and move on, or enter with some content like a recipe, and then leave.

I am so glad I had changed my mind and did not join this website. I am really sorry to hear of all the problems everyone is having.

it took me a year to finally get enough points for a $25 walmart card. I did get that in the mail. But since then I havent been able to get many more points. It takes to long

Beware of NETWINNER!!!

I won a $75 giftcard from netwinner.com in novemeber. I have been in contact with them since asking where it was. 2 weeks ago they told me that they have been backed up and didn't realize that many people would win things so fast so they were just getting around to Novembers winners and I will see soemthing in my email soon.So I asked them last week for an update. What a coincidence that just as my name apparantly comes up they can't give out giftcards for points anymore they say. Even though they still advertise that you can win giftcards and PRIZES now on their site. They say theres nothing they can do. that site is a rip-off and be warned not to fall for their tricks.i learned my lesson

I was scrwed by them as well, here is their customer service line, give em a call and raise hell
877-427-7706 to speak with our customer service specialist between 9-5 EST

Or you can file a complain online with the BBB. I did and when I said I did not accept the double points as a solution they said they'll fulfill the card. I believe it when I see it but I'm free to reopen the complaint if they don't follow through as agreed.

www.bbb.org

I used the address listed on the netwinner contact? or maybe it was customer service page.

What,s there slogan You play we pay I also got the big heevho from them they cancled all my $25 debit cards and gave all those useless points back well the wife changed her hours and I don,t have all that time to waste anymore The big thing with me was You could never redeem the points because the codes would not work I guess I no why Any way lets all move on and win with real websites without all the excuses

Thanks for the info. I just found this thread. I dont play Netwinner much, just once in awhile, like when they email me and say there giving extra points on all the spins. Anyway, I only had 74045 points so I just entered for the contests I wanted to win. If I win something great but if not I'm okay too. So glad I didnt spend lots of time there.

Sorry to hear about everyone who lost actual money.

The BBB is an association of businesses and will not do anything for you. The best thing to do is file a consumer complaint with your State's Attorney General Office. Make sure they understand that it is a sweepstakes site and NOT a gambling site. Only fraudulent sweepstakes sites are under their jurisdiction. You have to file the consumer complaint with the state attorney general office in the state that you reside in. We did in Maryland and they are investigating Netwinner. We probably won't ever receive our money, but hopefully the site will be shut down.

I agree w/Wolfie. Report them on RipOffReport.com. Before I sign up for anything new or use a new company I always go to Rip Off and see if the company is listed and what kind of service people have gotten.

Another site I use is My3Cents.com. They are like RipOff and people can submit their experiences with companys on their site as well.
