anyone else having this problem?

Sometimes I'll enter all my info into the contact field. I'll hit "enter" and it will say "Invalid city, State, Zip", meanwhile all my contact info is correct. There's no problem to fix. It's happened more than once. this started happening about 2 weeks ago.

1st make sure you have an updated robo-form filler if you are using that. and sometimes when there is a code involved make sure it is not looking for caps and lower case entries.

even if i manually type it in, I still have the same problem. It's not on every contest, but about 3-4 contest, and different sponsors. it's weird.

I had one this morning like that. Then I noticed it was a 24-hour sweep and I figured my 24-hours had not been up yet in order to enter it again.

Sometimes it has nothing to do with you but with the sweep. Like a glitch or technical problem. Sometimes it's because the form wants you to manually type in that specific data. For instance, if it comes back where there was an error with my zip, I'll manually type it in and then it'll submit.

Try doing the city, state, and zip manually if that happens. Either type in the info or manually choose it from the drop-down box, whichever.

If you post which sweepstakes they are, others can tell you whether or not they're also having the same problem. Then you'll know if it's at your end or the website. I haven't had this problem with any that I do.

Some sweeps don't like it if you put special characters like # or & or ? in there

As others have said, if you tell us which sweeps....

one that I found is on 4/03/08
one entry- #22 -Wired contest.
I just tried to enter it again and it says the same thing.

You have to type the entire thing in manually. I just kept going back and trying to fix the city, state, zip only. the entire form has to be typed in by hand.
it worked this time.
thanks everyone.
now i know.

I filled it in just with Roboform, and it filled in correctly--no manual typing. Have you checked that you are using the most current Roboform edition?

thanks. I don't think i use roboform. I wonder what i'm using. usually when i'm done creating, it will ask me sometimes "do you want to remember this password". most places I have to log in manually.
whatever i am using i have to click what names and addresses I want filled in.

It sounds like you're just using a basic autofill. It's better than handtyping but still too tedious for sweeping with. A form like that Wired one will fill and submit in about two seconds with Roboform.

How do you know which one costs money? it just says download, doesn't mention nothing about paying for it? I want to make sure i get the right one. thanks.

Then I'm sure you got the free one...go back into the roboform pro and look for the one that you have to pay for...it is WELL worth the money! I got it several years ago and I wouldn't sweep without it anymore! It is WONDERFUL!

Make sure to go to the Tech/computer questions section and look for the roboform thread to see how to set some other fields...There are a lot of happy sweepers with Roboform!

thanks for all your help. I'm going to purchase this and make my life alot easier.

You have to admit. last year I won alot not using a roboform! :booty"

I finally came out of my dry spell today!
