Even if you are waiting until the last day to enter the one-time contests, you should also consider that you are wasting your time if you are entering every contest that you see. When deciding on which contests to enter, think about the prize. Do you really need it? Do you even want it? If the answer to either of those questions are yes, then go ahead and enter them. If the answer is no to either of them, put them to the back burner and enter them if you have extra time available.
Another good idea is to make sure that you submit the correct information so that the sponsors of the contests can reach you. A lot of sponsors will choose another winner if they can't reach the first winner. Can you imagine how sad you will be if you find that you won one of those contests that you really wanted to win only to realize that you didn't respond in time and you have forfeited your prize? Just think about all of that time you gave up to enter these contests and all for nothing if you have mistyped your email address, house address, or phone number.
