One of the suggestions I always see in Sweepstakes Tips is to try entering at different times. Some folks swear by this, but I don't buy it and I'll explain why. With Instant Win sweepstakes, the sponsor has randomly assigned winning times. None of us know when these times will be, but if you're the first person to enter on or after that time, you win. If the winning times truly are random, your chances of winning at your usual time are just as good as your chances of winning at your new time.
The time change theory breaks up your routine and may put you into a refreshed state of mind, but I don't believe it will really make much difference in most cases. I do think the time change switch may pay off for you if you are able to enter sweepstakes in the pre-dawn hours. For a sweepstakes that is limited to US entrants, regardless of your time zone, most of us are up and about during daylight hours. More active sweeping people means that someone is bound to hit that winning time of 3:10pm almost as soon as that winning time is revealed. However, there are far fewer people entering sweepstakes at 3:10am. Theoretically, you could show up at 3:12am and still win the 3:10am sweepstakes because you were the first visitor to arrive after the winning time.
That's my theory anyway. We all have different ways of managing our sweepstakes entries, and you should try out some different things to see what works best for you.
I really dont think it would make any difference what time of the day I enter. I have never won anything at all in my entire 51 years, and I probably never will:(
