Although SweepsAdvantage and SweepstakesPlus has a Kids category, it doesn't pick up all the sweepstakes that are available to kids. The Kids category primarily contains sweepstakes that are designated 17 and under. However, if you have spent any time on our website, you know that there are plenty of sweepstakes that are for 13+, or 21 and under, or age 13-29 entrants. Check the Restrictions field to see who is eligible to enter.
A lot of the prizes that are tagged 13+ would appeal to anybody. Who wouldn't want to win a computer or an iPod? The age 13-29 sweepstakes seem to be from magazines like Seventeen who readers would fall within that age group. That left me wondering what was left to cover for the 21 and under category. Here are some of the prizes that the sponsors are presenting for that group:
Goodies from the new film “The Art of Getting By” starring Emma Roberts and Freddie Highmore. Prizes include a $100 American Express giftcard, “The Art of Getting By” soundtrack, and a poster signed by Emma and Freddie. Makes sense.
Justin Bieber scent sets. Again, I don't know why anyone would want to smell like Justin Bieber, but apparently that is appealing to some folks. Chacun a son gout.
An HP Pavilion dm1 Powered by AMD laptop. Awww. I'm over 21 and I would like this prize!
A purse signed by the cast of Nickelodeon's “Victorious”. Got it. Not the purse, the logic.
Or how about a set of seven brand new books from “The Dark Days of the Supernatural” summer series. With the popularity of the “Twilight” series, this makes total sense too.
I guess those sweepstakes sponsors do know what they're doing!
