I have never heard of anyone winning as much as this sweepstakes winner and so I thought, the least I can do is to feature her huge win here. Before anything else, let me congratulate Laylabean for her huge –not big– sweepstakes win!
The Huge Sweepstakes Win
‘Big’ is not enough to describe this sweepstakes win that is about to make our SA Bronze member ,000 richer. Still in bewilderment up to this moment, the surprise win hit Laylabean when she received an email notification saying that she is the potential grand prize winner of the Sears Wish List Sweepstakes and asking her to fill out forms such as W9.
She has never won anything big and so she was wondering if she has just received a spam email. But she was certain that she had joined this sweepstakes which opened in October 12, 2011. However, she said, she didn’t want to screw it up and just dismiss the email as it may also be true. This is why she had to ask other members for advices on what she should do.
Support from SA and Other SA Members
Support of encouragement and guiding advices came from other SA members. Lotusdragon, another SA bronze member, commented on the query and said, “Generally, it means that if you filled out the entry correctly, filled out the forms correctly and return them promptly, and you followed the rules of the giveaway, the prize is yours.”
Another SA member asked Laylabean to relax and enjoy her win as she was feeling so nervous about it. 19debiie said, “If you have problems, the sponsor is usually quite helpful.”
SA President and founder, Kenneth Carlos, congratulated the huge winner while other SA members applauded her for being so fortunate. Many members did not feel envious of her win; in fact, they felt even more hopeless that if one SA member can win in sweepstakes, then any other member can do, too.
The Sears Wish List Sweepstakes
One of the more famous sweepstakes The Sears Wish List Sweepstakes was open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who were 18 years old and above. Aside from the grand prize win, there were 68 daily random drawings. Each day, ten (10) potential daily winners received one (1) Zhu Zhu Pet worth $10 for a total of 680 daily winners or $6,800. Sears was generous enough to giveaway a total of ,800 on this recently concluded sweepstakes.
Congrats on your wonderful win. I haven’t won much from here in 2011 so here’s hoping that 2012 is a lot better. Hearing this is very encouraging!
WTG!! Advice, Reserve 30% to pay taxes, its treated as income by Uncle Sam and your state. If awarded from California, You owe taxes there also. A few yrs. ago I won a Toyota Tacoma truck AND $ 25,000! Amazingly, FEDEX dropped off the Check for $25000 without getting any signature, just left it at the door!Enjoy your good fortune, but keep entering EVERY day.Persistence and Consistency win every time!
” Congratulations on your win and enjoy, have fun, it is your time ” I hope to have one moment like that soon 🙂
