Sharing Contests

Have you ever run across contests that just don't interest you?  Or possibly some contests you don't have the talent for?  Do you share those contests with your family and friends?  I try to share contests with those that I think will be interested.  Recently I sent several contests for guns to my brother hoping that he will enter them and win something.  I just don't have the desire to win a gun so there was no need for me to enter.  Then there are several jewelry contest that really don't appeal to me.  I'm not much of a jewelry kinda girl.  For me to want it, it has to really be P-U-R-T-Y.  I don't care for gawdy stuff.  But I have a friend who loves any kind of jewelry and I hate to see these contests go to waste.

Other contests that don't interest me but I like to share are travel contests.  I'm not a big fan of motels and I would much rather go camping or to my families cabin than sleep in a motel bed or get into a shower behind where someone else has been.  The older I get, the worse this gets.  I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.  But, when you think about bedbugs, I'd say my method of spending the night away from home is much safer.  However, many people never pay for a family vacation just because they entered numerous trip contests.  These type of contests are prolific and I love to share them with my traveling friends.

There are also photo and design contests that I just don't bother entering.  If it's not really simple, I skip it unless I really, really, really want the prize.  But since I have talented family and friends, I tend to share these type contests with them.  And don't forget the baby contests.  Thank God I don't need a Britax stroller or a Diaper Genie anymore!  There is no need for me to enter these contests but I have friends with newborn babies that would love to have some of these grand prizes.  I reckon the purpose of this post is to find out if I'm the only one who shares the contests that they are not interested in.
