There are a few sweepstakes out there that you can only enter by texting in your information. This is probably very convenient for cell phone users. Do you enter these types of sweepstakes? I don't. Not because I don't wants the prizes, but because I don't have a cell phone. I'm not convinced that I want or need one, but should I change my mind, there sure are a lot of sweepstakes out there that give away new phones.
The iPhone is one of the phones that must be hot as there are so many giveaways for them. Some sponsors give away just the phones. Others include service packages, upgrades, apps, ring tones, and cell phone cases. Pardon the questions of the ignorant, but why would you need a cell phone case? Don't most the phones snap or slide shut? If I ever did enter and win one of these sweeps, obviously I would have a lot to learn.
Another cell phone name that comes up a lot is Blackberry. From what I can tell, a Blackberry seems prized for its ability to help one keep organized. If this is something you covet, try searching the site for Blackberry giveaways – there are always a few running.
The sweepstakes for younger sweepers include all types of different model phones that they are giving away. If you are hoping for a phone signed by Justin Bieber or Rihanna, check the Restrictions field for sweepstakes that show a younger entry age.
