One Person’s Approach to Sweepstakes

If you're reading this, you are either a sweepstakes enthusiast, or you are new to the hobby.  Whether you are an established sweeper or a novice, you'll discover that with so many available sweeps, you develop your own method of approaching them each day.  There is no right or wrong way to arrange your sweepstakes schedule, but I know what works for me.  You can follow my method or invent your own, but this is how I do it.

First thing in the morning, I log into SweepsAdvantage or SweepstakesPlus and go to the Instant Win category.  Once I'm in the category, I have the sweepstakes arrange themselves in Ascending Order, based on Expiration Date.  This will display the sweepstakes that are about to expire first so I don't miss an opportunity to enter them.  Unlike other categories, I do not keep a MySweeps list for Instant Wins.  I simply go down the list and enter the ones that I want to enter.  There are some sweepstakes that I don't enter because I'm not eligible, don't have a code, or simply don't want that prize.  I used to skip the Facebook sweepstakes, but I gave in and created a Facebook account for sweepstakes only.

After I enter the Instant Wins, I don't enter again until later in the day.  At that time, I pull up the New sweepstakes for the day and go down the list to enter the ones I like.  If I anticipate entering again, I log that sweepstakes into MySweeps.  Next, I go into MySweeps and re-enter my saved sweepstakes.  I also remove  the expired ones.

By the end of the day, I have entered all the Instant Win, New, and saved sweepstakes.  Whatever approach you prefer, find a methodical approach that works for you so that you enter all the sweepstakes you want and increase your chances of winning!
