At last, July 31st is here. What a long, hot month it has been. Even so, I like summer best of all the seasons and recognize that August means we're starting to wind down. In a way, July sweepstakes are kind of similar. It's always exciting to start a new month and wonder what great new prizes will appear. Today is the last chance to enter some old favorites, so here's wishing us all the best of luck.
I won't name names, but there are some sweepstakes I will be glad to see heading out the exit door. I love the sponsors, and their prizes, but I don't always like the entry forms. I'm a little more patient with One Entry sweepstakes forms that are tedious because I know it's a “one and done” deal. But I betcha I'm not the only one who gets impatient with Daily or Instant Win sweeps that want me to enter the same survey each time I enter, or watch a long video clip, or describe my perfect vacation, or just work through multiple pop-up windows. Enough already – some entry forms involve too much work!
Another good aspect to saying farewell to July's sweepstakes is knowing that winners will soon be chosen. We might even have surprise wins left from June or May or even earlier. With sweepstakes, you never know when a win may arrive. Hopefully August will bring us a whole new batch of enticing sweepstakes to enter, as well as a few winning notices for the July sweepstakes we entered.
