Have Contests You Don’t Want to Enter?

Do some contests just get on your nerves hanging around?  Have you heard of Sweeps Check?  Let me tell you a bit about it.  SweepsCheck: Mark those sweeps you've entered/decided AGAINST entering. Makes doing end of the month sweeps a snap! Also allows you to quickly see the newest added, as you check back throughout the day, without having to look at the ones you already decided on!!! Remember – click Save my Sweepstakes or refresh the page if you have pop ups allowed at SA, to save.  This feature is not just for sweepstakes but for Contests as well.

As Amy pointed out in the Sweepstakes Advantage forum, you can take this a step further by searching out those contests that you don't want to enter and adding them to the Sweeps Check.  Then when you go and look at the new contests, you can quickly see that those are contests you want to ignore and bypass them all together.  Therefore these contests will not be getting on your nerves quite as much.  This option is rather grand if you are afraid you'll miss something.

Another option that might be coming soon *crossing fingers for those of you that want this option* is a way to block certain contests so that you never see them.  This is being discussed in the Plus member forum and would probably be an option only for Plus members.  This would be sort of like the ignore feature on a message board.  If you want to ignore a member on a message board, you go to your profile and adjust there.  If this feature is made possible in the next upgrade, you could ignore certain contests or possibly certain types of contests.  I'm not a fan of blog contests because some of them require too much work for me for a small prize.  Therefore I ignore that section entirely.  But what happens when I use the search function for toys?  Numerous blog contests pop up.  With this new feature, I would have the option to block these contests!
