Flag Day Sweepstakes

On June 14th, Americans recognize Flag Day.  Flag Day was first observed in 1877 on our flag's 100th birthday.  The day has been observed every year since then. In 1916, Woodrow Wilson responded to popular appeals and made in a nationwide observance.  In 1949, Congress resolved “That the 14th day of June of each year is hereby designated as Flag Day.”  So fly that flag proudly this June 14th.

If you served in the military or were a Boy Scout or Girl Scout, you know the proper way to fold a flag.  To learn, or refresh, this skill, Shakefire has a DVD for you.  Visit their site for a chance to win a DVD copy of “How to Fold a Flag”.
