I know if you've been entering contests for any period of time, you have seen some contests that make you wonder what on earth the sponsor was thinking. Many times it's the prize they are giving away or it could be something in the rules that make you go hmmmm … Just the other day, I started saving some links to the funny contests because you know one day, I'm going to write a book. And if I get enough to share with you, I plan on coming back here and writing another blog post about them crazy contests.
The contest that has made me giggle the most recent is the one that asks you to enter one time per hour. I mean really, who has time for that kinda stuff? You would have to remember the exact time you entered say like 12:05 PM and go back at 1:05 PM, 2:05 PM, etc. I'm sure someone will do it, but I just don't have that kind of patience. And I suppose if you skipped a few hours, you could count up from there but I'm still scratching my head over those rules. I do good to enter the contests I really want to win daily. Some days I remember that I forgot to enter them the day before and I kick myself in the tail for about an hour until I get over it.
One of my favorite contests and one that I will never forget, gave away horse semen from a prize horsey. Now how many people would even enter contests like that? And it must be pretty popular than you would think because I'm almost positive I saw it last year and this year. I believe they will ship it to you overnight so I'm thinking it's a pretty time sensitive prize. Contests like that not only make me laugh, they make me shudder too.
