Find Your Lucky Prize With Blog Contests

Blog contests are a little different than your ordinary contests.  Many require you to go to the website of the sponsor who is giving the prize away and look around.  Then you comment on their giveaway post about what you liked on the website, which drives traffic to their site while also making you drool over things that you would love to own.

Win it Big – On a Blog!

Others require you to subscribe to their blog (to get constant updates when they publish new content), which will drive you to their blog more often. Visit their Facebook page and give them a like, which also helps their traffic. Other giveaways want you to tweet and re-tweet about them. For some blog contests, you need to do more than one of these things, while others just ask for one.

As you can see, blog contests serve two purposes. One is to drive traffic to their site and make them some money.  If this puzzles you, think about what you will do while you are at their site.  If you take some time to look around at their contests and other pages, you might click on one of their advertising links which drives revenue to them.

The Two Winning Sides of Blog Contests

When bloggers have a lot of traffic to their site, sponsors want to advertise with them.  Adding a follower increases their subscriber list.  Sponsors may find them attractive if they boast that they have thousands of subscribers.

The other purpose is to get cool things for blog owners (they get to try out these prizes) and make peeps happy.  Who wouldn't be excited to get a fabulous prize for simply commenting on a few blog contests or for becoming a follower?

Now It's Your Turn to Win

Some of these blog contests have some really cool prizes.  Many offer gift cards, toys, cooking tools, baby gear, printers, computers, phones, etc.  There are so many blog contests out there!  If you haven't tried entering these contests, give it a shot and see what you get out of it.
