Have you looked at all the contests added since July began? There are over fifteen hundred contests! I am so far behind. Me and my children went out of town last weekend for a July 4th / youngest child's birthday celebration and while we enjoyed ourselves, I find myself trying to catch up on all of the new contests. I am exhausted! But having a ball dreaming of all of the things I could win. Just recently I won a book that I didn't really enter for. It was one of those newsletter thingys that keeps you on their list for all contests. I wasn't really ecstatic but hey, a prize is a prize isn't it?
The beginning of any month is my favorite time for contests. There are so many contests to enter and such a variety. Right now I'm entering contests that vary from books to Pyrex dishes to gift cards to vehicles and anything in between. Sometimes I overlook contests because of their name. Like the one from Real Truck. I don't figure I need anything from a truck place but when I looked closer, I realized it was for a five hundred dollar gift card so I can choose WHAT I win if I win. Then there are baby contests that I surely don't need the prize that they are offering, but I could resell it or give it to a friend who is having a baby right? I would generally skip over those contests but I'm thinking … why?
I'm supposing that one of my favorite companies that sponsors contests is Classic Heartland. I've never won anything from them and there was a big whoo haa about them not being a legitimate company several months back (all worked out well though). They have the easiest form for entering and have great contests to boot. Easy is the way I go. If it's not easy to enter, I don't generally do it. Toys R Us is having an instant win contest where you have to answer a trivia question daily. I tried to do it, but I just don't have the time for the more complicated contests. Normally I have one or two children hanging on me and possibly a phone going as well as a customer wanting something. Life can get hectic for me so easy contests are the only way I go.
