If you have been following this blog, you may recall that I have mentioned before that I don't own a cell phone. So far, I haven't felt the need for one, but if there is an upsurge in “text to enter” sweepstakes, I may have to change my mind. I resisted Facebook participation for quite a while, but eventually gave in and registered an account because I didn't want to miss out on Facebook sweepstakes. I have a feeling that text entry sweepstakes is going to keep growing too.
Right now, many of the text entry sweepstakes list text entry as the primary means of entering, but also include a web entry option for us non-phone folks. Works for me. What doesn't work for me are sweepstakes that only allow text entries. Ouch! I'm missing out on prizes here!
One of the sweepstakes I would like to enter is The Spicy Pickle's Summer 2011 Mobile iPad Sweepstakes. The sweep is limited to only a dozen states, so right there, you're odds of winner are better. The prize is an iPad 2, a device many of us don't currently own, but would like to. I won't be winning this one either as the only way to enter is by texting in your entry. Argh! Ah well, best of luck to you cell phone users in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon & Texas. Enter this sweepstakes, and one of you could be a lucky winner of an iPad 2 this summer!
I just love to enter these sweepstakes they are exciting and can be a mean of getting your well at least my adrenaline pumping.
