How hot is it where you are?  Summer has hit us with a big fat BLAM!  I tend to hide out inside when it gets so hot.  We haven't had rain in I couldn't tell you when and my poor little plants have bit the dust.  Speaking of summer, summer contests are abundant at Sweepstakes Advantage!  That's something that will take your mind off of the heat.  When I type in the word summer in our Power Search, it comes up with almost two hundred contests.  So many contests, so little time ….

One of the contests that looks interesting to me is Daily Cocktails.  Now I don't drink, but many of the prizes I see there I could certainly use.  They are giving away indoor/outdoor speaker sets, wicker lounges, remote control coolers (this I gotta see – does it bring something to you?), and so much more.  I love those contests that offer something for everyone.  And since we are talking about drinking contests, Mike's Hard Lemonade is offering up a kayak, a jet ski, a beverage cooler, and a tent.  That ought to get you thinking of summer in a different perspective.  Sponsors for contests such as Cisco offer grills and grilling utensils as the prize.  They know summer gets everyone outside and using the grill.

Many summer contests offer trips because we all know that summer is vacation time.  Lonely Planet is offering breakfast in bed for two.  Winning contests that are for only two means you get to leave the kiddos with Grandma and have a little fun for yourself.  Even Mountain Dew is offering a trip for two to Miami.  Just make sure you read everything about these contests because even though it's a trip for two, it doesn't sound too romantic as it is centered around the Miami Homestead Speedway.  Just because it sounds like a dream trip to you, doesn't mean your honey will think so.  You might want to consider taking one of your best buds with you if you win that one.  Then there are those contests for the entire family, like the one from My Coke Rewards where you can win a trip to Six Flags.  If you won a trip like this for your family, I bet they'd quit complaining about you spending all that time entering contests.
