Your Favorite INSTANT WIN SWEEPSTAKES??

Help!

I am a NEWBIE and have just been entering various DAILY and WEEKLY sweepstakes. I read a topic on the forum this morning about YOUR ROUTINE. The writer stated that she did INSTANT SWEEPSTAKES everyday. I've attempted to sign up for 2-3 of these and it seems it's more trouble than it's worth..... or could it be ME! :cry: What am I doing wrong?

Any suggestions on WHICH ones are the easiest to begin with??

"The easiest, to begin with" - I don't know, but here are a few thoughts on starting with IWs---hopefully other people will add their ideas and maybe name some IWs that are easy.


---Read the Winners' Circle and see which IWs people have been posting wins from. (Also keep in mind that not everyone posts wins, and some people do post wins, but post them in Comments under the sweeps.)

---Some IWs are more resource intensive than others. Make sure your flash player etc. are up-to-date so you can run them, otherwise you may get frustrated by slow loading times.

---There are a couple of IWs right now that do require lots of steps, signing up, logging in, entering codes, then waiting for the next step to load...and once you are finished, you can enter more than once per day!! Skip them until you have more time or feel ready and patient.

---This applies to all sweeps in general - skip it if it is not a prize you like/could use.


You ask, "What am I doing wrong?" ---Probably nothing! Some IWs are not so instant to load and play, but you will find the ones that are the right fit for you.
 
A lot of them are more time consuming initially than repeatedly. Once you enter all your info, they'll often just have you put in an email address when you come back a second time.

Also, most of the time, you don't have to play the game unless you want to. Look for the "Click here if you can't see the game" links usually off to the side or towards the bottom of the page to bypass the game screen.

The game has no bearing on whether you win or lose, it's just a way to creatively display and interact with the sweep. It really does all come down to timing and you are just as likely to get the winning screen if you spin the wheel as you are if you bypass it.

This also means that if there isn't a way to bypass the game, you still don't have to play it. I won one last week that didn't have a way to bypass the game, but I let it time out while I was entering a different sweep in a different tab, and once the game finished with a zero score, I had run through 3 other sweeps and I came back to a winning screen.

The multi-tab browsing with sweep-pop, mysweepstakes and a form filler speeds up the whole process for whatever you're entering. Take the time to learn the tools on the site and find your own efficiencies so you can enter more without spending your whole day on the site unless you want to :)
 
arrtup3 offered some great information in that response. I second that you should read the winner's circle and also 'search' the forum, we've recently talked IW's - you'll find interesting topics to read. Don't give-up on IW's. I mentioned on one post that I didn't win a single IW in an entire month, then the next month, I hit 13 total. I also have had one streak of winning 3, back-to-back (each day) from the same IW. So far this month, I've hit no IW's again.

My luckiest IW so far has The X-Factor with 4 wins. For others, its been Dove, or Uniball. Everyone has different successes which is what makes it both fun and frustrating. :crazytongue:
 
I do that too, especially with that stupid Chex game. I started playing at first and by the time I get to the third level, I realize how much time I've wasted. I just let the time run out now. Can't waste valuable sweeping time!

Yup, I won on the direct tv one on FB (I think the prize is a t-shirt, keychain, and pen), but I usually let that chex/boxtops one time out too.
