As far as I know, the current owner is Ronald Burkle, but I am not sure how he bought it: was it a public auction or not. Still, it’s a rich people’s business that I will probably never be a part of, so I am not interested in it that much.
Sometimes it’s a little entertaining to look at how rich people go mad because of all the money and opportunities they have, but it’s a show that you can easily get tired of. I understood some time ago that being extremely wealthy does them more harm than benefit because they are lost among all the possibilities. They constantly have to contact their lawyers like https://ucmjdefense.com/sexual-assault-article-120-ucmj.html to ensure they don’t lose anything. They are also a perpetual focus of the media.
