I got a phone call today -
Ms. Anderson this is "Bill with Imperial Majestic Cruise Lines" and I wanted to let you know that you are the grand prize winner in the sweepstakes that you entered 3 weeks ago on our site for a 3 night 2 day cruise to Nassua Bahamas.
I nearly flipped out - Whoopee!!! I thought
He started telling me all about the cruise, and all the 8 meals a day, and all the entertainment on the cruise, and all the things to be done in Nassua, and went on for about 10 minutes.
THEN: - - - He said, now, Ms. Anderson, I need you to know that you can take this trip anytime in the next 12 months, and that you can book your stay at our Ramada Resort for the days prior to the cruise and days after the cruise for the sum of $498,,,
And I said to stop right there - what days prior to and after
My what a scam - he really had me going there for a bit - thought I had really won something - but it ended up being just a scam to get me to buy a week at their resort in Orlando and get tickets to Universal Studios for 2 days and spend the 2 days on the cruise ship as an extra.
Depressing - what a way to go.
But glad I caught on early.
I tried to get the cruise out of them without the other stay at the Hotel, but no such luck.
