I won a Valentine's giveaway worth over $400. I received the winning email and I responded to their marketing person asking what all they need from me. She said I could come by the office anytime to pick it up. That is not possible since I live in Alabama and they are located in California. When I wrote her back I told her that it would not be possible due to the distance between us. I asked about shipping the prize and she said she would have to get approval for shipment because they normally do not ship prizes and then asked for my address. I pulled the rules up and it stated "open to anyone located in the United States" and " do not have to be present to win". No where in any of the rules did it state you had to come to the office to pick up the prize nor that it was for locals only. I wrote her back stating this as well. I have not heard from her since. Normally I would not be concerned about this but I worked really hard getting referrals. What would you do in this situation? Is there anything that can be done?

Well, I'm new at this but I guess there are more people working for this company right? Give them a call and file a complaint! Make sure you talk to someone and notify that you won and the rules didn't say you couldn't participate. You are the winner and if you worked hard for it you should get it!

Was this a radio contest?
