Woman Learns of $3 Million Win from E-mail In Spam Folder

Spotted in the news - a woman learned that she had won $3 million in the lottery only by checking her spam folder and finding a message there, which turned out to be the real thing. Bottom line I guess - whether it's sweepstakes or whatever, be sure to carefully keep an eye on your spam and promos folders. You just never know.

Do you all find the gmail filters helpful or do things still slip the net?

I set up my gmail using filters and so far things have gone where they need to go. Spam often gets labeled as a winner but it's manageable and preferred over winners going to spam.

You'll still want to check your spam folder but it helps a lot.
