I should maybe go to the "whiner's wall" with this but I am so amazed when I see people that actually have a LIST of wins in a month. I would shout it from the roof tops if I had a list. I am wondering if they work at this full time. I enter between 150 - 250 each day faithfully and it has been MONTHS since I have won anything. I use RoboForm and am careful to read each one and fill in any extra questions. It does get discouraging.
 
I get what you are saying. I was very fortunate to have a good win this month, but I too am amazed at the folks who win so many prizes month after month. I can go many months in between winning anything and it can become discouraging. I would love to know the secret to consistent winning too.
 
I fear lots of members who don't see any wins after entering that many sweepstakes are not practicing good sweepstakes email management. Most win notifications except for the very large ones come via email
nowadays. If you are not checking your email ( and spam email ) on a daily basis you are probably losing out on wins. I've been shocked to find a few in my spam and then some I deleted by
accident. Also if you are entering facebook sweepstakes ( some do not notify you by email and only on their facebook page ). It's very important to do the diligence of checking your email carefully if you
enter that many sweepstakes.
 
I check my email at least 4 x per day. Also careful to check spam folder. I am thinking of changing from Gmail because I have had several sweeps mention difficulty in notifying Gmail customers.
 
I use yahoo as my sweeps email. I like it because I can do a search mail the Congratulations or Winner. I have found a couple of wins that I would not have known about by doing this as the Subject Line sure didn't indicate that I was a winner of anything. Don't give up hope. I always say to keep a positive attitude because the Law of Attraction says that positive attracts posistive. Sending some good luck vibes out to you.

I use Hotmail & my wife uses Gmail. We both have found win notifications in the spam folder. Last month she rec'd an email that looked like spam and she almost deleted it. On a hunch, she opened it and she'd won a $1,000 Laptop in the Microsoft.Com - Discovered Sweepstakes that just ended in January.

In Hotmail, you can right click on the email and select "view message source". This'll let you look at the email without actually opening it. This doesn't work in Gmail.

150 to 250 entries per day should result in wins. You've just hit a dry spell. Hang in there, and keep entering. The wins will come.
 
vonniejane1, I was just thinking of posting to the whiner's thread myself!

I think in 9 years {this month!} of entering online {after entering by snail back in the 80's with a grand total of 3 wins} I've run the gamut from looooooooooooooong dry spells, to awesome winning runs, to just bumping along the bottom, with free coupons my only compensation of late.

Having experienced such highs and lows, I've accepted that I have *no* control after submitting my entries. Well, except for paying attention to detail, as sweepsadv noted, by checking my email/FB/winners' threads, or whatever the rules say.

pmeek makes a good point about the Law of Attraction - a positive attitude works far better for me than being a negative nelly - when I get negative about one thing, it tends to spill over into other aspects of my life, and before I know it, *everything* seems bleak. Yuck!

Enter and forget it.

Always be happy for those who win - even when they win "your" prize - and be positive you will win.

Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win.

If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!!

I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!

So hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - and you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!!

pmeek, thanks for the heads up that the subject line may not be the indicator. I will use your method when checking my email.
 
I have been doing this for about a year and a half... when I first started I was winning daily sometimes twice daily.. Now I win maybe
once or twice a month... and I am entering the same exact way... I think it is time for a break....... I'm turning into the negative nellie .... lol

Oh yeah, multiple wins in a single day - I vaguely remember those days!!! :p

And oh nooooooooooooo!!! Stay away from the dark side - being a negative nellie can = former sweeper if you let it get to you!!! :(
