i'm not sure what the problem is....... wins have been far inbetween.... Nada really.... Oh well, one of us are bound to hit soon...................... right
Personally, I have noticed a reduction in "real" sweepstakes.
Sure ... there are now a zillion of those hokey "get you on our mailing list that's for sale" type sweeps/giveaways, but all a person wins on those is junk. (If there are any real winners at all!) 97% of all sweeps being currently listed here fall into that category. (Why else would they have to PAY! to be listed here? )
Junk sweeps don't count as far as I'm concerned. It might for those who "have to win" something no matter what it is. But 80 "wins" of junk a year doesn't mean sweeps are better.
Also, most of the "real" sweeps are now offering less prizes that can be won per contest AND most of the prize valuations are GROSSLY over-valued to make the prizes appear more attractive. Such as an air flight to anywhere in the US being valued at $3000 when you can fly anywhere for $400 in actuality.
Blue Eyes says it like it is. I also notice an increase in "one-a-day" smaller prizes. To me, that is as hard to win as the "one entry" contests. Good luck to all!
I've noticed that lots of people are winning wiis! Me included. I was so happy because in 3+years, I have never won an ipod (or any MP3 player). It's sort of a sore spot for me. But at least I've won a wii, so I won't have to wring my hands* while "everyone else" wins one (or two).

Gotta say that this confuses me. I almost exclusively win one entries including those one per day ones (and instants). Daily entries are my bane!! I'm sure that some day I will win one, but it hasn't happened yet! (Unless stuff like the Burger Debate t-shirt counts, and with 1000 of those, I say it does not.)
*dentist says I can't grit my teeth anymore, so I've moved on to hand wringing
