Winners Lists

I was wondering why the winners lists aren't posted online
all of the time. Most of the sweepstakes require a SASE to
be snailmailed weeks after the end of the sweeps for an answer as to 'who' won!

I totally agree with you. I think the winners list should always be posted on the sponsor's site. We shouldn't have to send away for it. I have sent a self-addressed stamped envelope many times but I never get the winners list.
 
:sunny: For an answer to that question, you would need to contact a sponsor that doesn't post a winner's list and ask them. SA has no control over who posts a winners list or who doesn't.
 
As in everything these days, companies are obliged to comply with their State laws regarding sweepstakes.

Most use fullfillment companies and JA's {Judging Associations} for the implementation, but they generally try to "run" the sweeps from the State with the most favorable laws. Since those laws don't require them to offer their winner's lists online, it's usually up to them.
