Is this real?!?! I got an email from Condenast, but the person's name doesn't match the email. I'm about to either cry or jump up and down with excitement...

Update: I called the Condenast New York office and was told any email ending in condenast.com is legit and the sender may be a contractor or freelancer.

Crossing fingers. I responded and am waiting to make sure it's real.

I think it is legit. I won a $500 Gift Card from Lands end in a Lucky Mag Contest. Had to reply withing a certain time frame to accept. Got my card 2 days later!

Those Lucky giveaways are great and I've won a couple. The emails are sent by the people who supply the prizes, so they are all different. This seems pretty casual all right, but I think it's probably OK and worth taking the chance. Let us know how it works out!

They don't seem to be asking for anything that you wouldn't want them to know or any money.

Holy moly it's real. They just followed up with an affidavit and tax form and it has to be mailed to their NY office by Monday. I'm a little shocked.
