win

Just keep trying! My experience has been dry spells followed by multiple wins the same day or week. Good luck to all of us!

It took me a long time to start winning and even then nothing big but every little bit helps. Good Luck!

You definitely will! I can't wait to read your first win of 2011! Just hang in there and keep entering. Usually wins come in 3's. So keep plugging at it and stay positive :)

I will say a prayer that you will win something BIG soon. :headbang: Here's my story which I hope will encourage you. I quit sweeping until last summer when I started up again. Then I didn't win anything for a couple of months last summer but just when I was about to quit "wasting my time" (as my husband calls it) I got an email from Ellington that I won their purse of the month. :sunny: I had entered my email address at the time because I was looking for a new purse last summer. I would have paid for the purse! I won a Joni handbag worth $189. I use it all the time. Then a few weeks later I got an email from Kaboodle.com that I was chosen as the gadget-a-week winner. :sunny: I had joined Kaboodle 2 years previously and I hadn't even logged-in for awhile. I sent the affy and a few days later the fulfillment department sent me a Canon PowerShot 14.1 MP camera from Target. My husband and I needed a movie camera and we were going to buy a JVC but the Canon is better because I can carry it in my Ellington purse all the time. Then a few weeks later I got a telephone call from the marketing director at OK! Magazine that I was the grand prize winner in one of their sweepstakes and I won a Sony eReader with Eat, Pray, Love and Commitment downloads and a beautiful leather case. I had even forgotten that I had entered their "one entry" sweepstakes. :sunny: Well. this is a long story and I'll try to make it shorter. NEVER QUIT SWEEPING! When you least expect it, YOU WILL WIN.

Everyone else is right. You will win only if you don't give up. After a bit of beginner's luck when I first started over a year ago, I had several dry months when I won almost nothing and then finally started winning consistently. When I wanted to quit, I decided to just believe I could win and enter even more. That was what turned the tide.

You can win. I can win. We can all win.
But only if we don't give up.

I believe you can win! :headbang:

I'm not winning either.

I've been reading more and more about sweepstakes cheaters. Computer geeks that have figured out how to beat the sweepstakes systems. Anyone else hear this?

Keep thinking about giving up but not yet. Keep on entering.

In a slump? Think horses, not zebras:

1} Timing. Important for IW sweeps. If yours is off, you won't win.
2} Frequency. If a sweeps allows daily entry, try to enter every day.
3} Amount. If you just enter a few big name sweeps, chances are you won't win. Add some variety.
4} Control. Do some cheat? Yes. But they are outliers, and sponsors do a good job of weeding them out.
5} Stress. Is thinking about not winning ruining your day? Take a break.

The most important thing is that you enjoy this hobby.

If your focus is negative, your outcome will {likely} be negative.

Accept that you control how you feel, and that you CAN control how you feel - focus on the positive, don't worry what others do or win, and most of all, don't let sweeping take over your life!
