Did you enter a sweeps for best buy with this prize? Are you sure the sponsor is best buy? :scratch:
 
I agree ... It looks like a scam. I had something very similar not too long ago that referenced a Walmart card. My initial instinct was that it had to be a scam and when I googled it, there was a lot of information that indicated that it was.
 
When we give our phone numbers out to so many, it's possible scams happen. Got my fingers crossed for you! Good luck~
 
I got the same one yesterday, and I know it's a scam because I've never given out my cell phone for any contest! Sorry!
 
Scam..just like "YOU WON A $1000 Walmart Gift card" click here..participation required...yada,yada...delete,delete.
 
Last week they were sent out as best buy holiday bonus. Google the phone number and you will see what it is. Usually not a win.
 
Scam. Though mine wasn't from Best Buy, I got a text a few months ago saying I'd won a $1,000 Walmart GC. Total BS. Btw, spammers design these on the basis that a LOT of people have bought their cell phones from Best Buy (consider their size and geographic coverage) and so would respond to this kind of message.
