Win Notifications by Phone (Time limits)?

I was wondering what a typical time limit to claim a prize is?

I got a voicemail notifying me of a sweeps win (Stella Artois Cannes FF) and they mistakenly declared that I had abt 10 minutes from the time of the voicemail to return the call and verify my claim. It was actually 24hrs and I was able to claim it in plenty of time.

But it did make me wonder if I shouldn't forward that line to wherever I may be so I don't miss calls or can at least respond to voicemails ASAP.

Any thoughts?

:sunny: I don't know that there is anything typical for returning a phone call. Some specifically state that if you don't asnswer the call, you give up claim to a prize. Anytime, that I have received a call for a prize they just gave me the information on the answering machine or just asked me to call back. I recall ever having a time time to return the call.
 
I've actually had some prior experience with this. I think some of the sweepstakes admins have a very
short waiting period and I've missed wins due to that. I signed up for Google Voice and I get a text
on my cell phone when someone leaves a message. That seems to help.

Yeah, I've got that ability too... I'll have to remember to get that connected. Thanks for the feedback everybody.
