Gee whiz. The AARP sweeps are so tedious to enter and I have spent hours on them. So I finally won a $5 gift card to JC Penney. Tried to go through the process to claim and it won't accept my info and I get a message they cannot fulfill as they have insufficient inventory for the sweepstakes. What??? Waste of my time !!!!!!!!!!

Ah, n/m - found it - not a sweeps, it's a points program: Earn points for savings on gift cards, name-brand merchandise and more with Rewards for Good - AARP

Use that link and at the bottom "redeem points" you will see the link for the sweepstakes (top right). The big one is $400 in gift cards and then,below that one, you have a dozen or so for $5 cards .. Dunkin', Payless, BP, Auto Zone, etc. You do use points to enter, but get those from any activity, like looking at retirement info.
