WHY won't SA work right with IE 11?

I just can't seem to do SA with IE 11. I am still running windows 7 pro. IE is set to defaults. I do not have toolbars or any add ons other than the totally normal flash and java... all up to date. I DO have ad-aware but that can be turned on or off. It makes no difference whether I have Ad aware on or off, SA just crashes IE. The scroll bar won't stay there either, on the daily contest listing page. The scroll bar is normal in these forums, it's only on the contest list page all the woes start. It's just fine in Firefox. But I want to use IE for the daily entries because I DO keep cookies in IE and some of the contests work in IE but not FIREfox because of their "browser wars" I guess....

Anyway SA can fix this? I read about the scrollbar issue and tech sites all seem to say it's a line of code on the webmaster's part they could fix.

Try Mozilla Firefox - - https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

I've used it as my Browser for years on computers running IE 7 and IE 10. Microsoft wants everyone to switch to IE 10 and the support for IE 7 is almost non existent. They're trying to force people to switch to IE 10 and the Edge Browser.

There are numerous reviews online of the various browsers, just Google - Browser reviews

Here's an excerpt from an article by Kim Komando on October 9, 2017:

" According to Google Project Zero researchers, while security flaws and holes are being quietly patched and fixed in major Windows 10 updates, the same bugs in older systems like Windows 7 and Windows 8 often get the fixes at a much later date.

This means hackers can check the vulnerabilities fixed in a new Windows 10 update and will realize that the same holes are still present in older versions of Windows. This is obviously a big security risk for Windows 7 and Windows 8 systems which are still widely used by homes and businesses worldwide."

I agree with curmudgeon, BUT, Firefox recently updated to version 56.0 & I had to get rid of it because it slowed my laptop to a crawl & crashed like crazy so I re-installed version 55.0.3

I've used FireFox for years, but am so tired it of not loading my sweeps pages fully. I've had to use 2 browsers (Chrome for the ones that won't load in FF), so decided to make Chrome my default. Well, this morning I tried to uses SweepsPop on it for the first time, and only one sweep would load. Sigh. So now I'm trying IE, and so far so good, but I have had one sweep that wouldn't load so still had to use Chrome. :(

I never use SweepsPop. I load 4 or 5 pages manually. When I have 1 or 2 left I load another 3 or 4. I never have any problem.

If you haven't, I suggest you read the article I linked in my prior post.

Look at your Chrome settings - may only allow 1 at a time
