Hi, I've been at this for about 6-8 weeks and have a newbie question. I notice many contests are based on holidays, or events like the superbowl. The contest runs right up to the day of the event or even a few days past. So if you win something, like a TV and snack package for the superbowl, why do they not make sure you get it in time for the event? I mean sure a big TV is cool anyday of the year, or a grill, or whatever. But if it's a superbowl based sweepstakes, why don't they send you the prize so you can use it for the superbowl? Same for Christmas sweeps. I noticed a lot of toy sweeps, but yet toys wouldn't be shipped for 6-8 weeks.

jenopher - Depends on the promo, but sweeps that give away a Super Bow trip/tix are usually for the Super Bowl in the *following* year or, some will give away the [Super Bowl trip/tix] GP before the promo ends - always check the rules
