I dont know what happen to the whining wall or post but im whining!!!!!!!!!! Im on a very dry spell and would love to win something, I find it hard to believe in my 15 plus years of entering sweeps and instant wins I have NEVER won a Grand Prize or a trip prize how is that possible???? Never won any checks, I see people posting that they have received checks from Marlboro sweepstakes for instance, I never have and I actually smoke Marlboros and have for over 20 years. This is probably the wrong place to post this, and Im sorry for whining but I want to win, I cant even win the coupon for candy from the Snickers instant win. What am I doing wrong?

The whiner's wall - I thought it was stickied near the top of the Winner's Circle -I couldn't see it either until I did a forum search for "whine." I found it in the forum called Gripe/Vent, and it is stickied near the top.

The odds are astronomical! Sometimes, you can see how many actual entries you are competing with on a sweepstakes and you realize this fact. There is nothing you are doing "wrong"!
I have some tips that I believe have helped lead me to win.
They are...
Watch the "latest comments" and be alerted to new sweeps to beat the rush of entries.
Play all "new" sweeps and add to your custom "my sweeps".
Join Sweepstakes plus if you haven't already, and create and utilize the "my sweeps" listing for efficiency.
It looks like you might not have the plus account from your id on post. I pay 7.00 every 3 months and I believe it is worth every penny. I like the way the board reads, the layout is easier for me.
Play daily hitting all new sweeps first, adding to my sweeps, and then play all you have saved to your my sweeps.
The rules on many contests have a predetermined time to win. The first entry at the right time wins. I was taught to play at the 00 of any given minute to be the first....watch the clock with the seconds on your computer and wait and enter at 3:00 00 or 01 for example...if it's the middle of a minute, wait until the next minute to give yourself the best opportunity at being the first entry at the predetermined time.
Mix up the times of your entry. I am on the west coast and I see many people win from the east coast in the am, like 6am for example. Well, I am not entering at 3am to try for morning entry competition.
Depending on your time zone, try and play when you think your competition is the lowest for instant wins. Daily might not matter as much. Random prize selection is just that. You just have to be "in it to win it". You never know what entry of yours will be picked and win, so keep on entering for that surprise win!
Keep a positive attitude. Like Amy says, "Enter it and forget it", knowing that all effort is good effort and the wins will come. It's a numbers game for sure.
Make some friends and pm eachother for encouragement and motivation. You can pm me to team up and we can help eachother.

Enter contests that have lots of prizes. The more to award leads to your greater chances. I know that we don't list by number of prizes here, but you can go to searches on the internet and they have listings of current contests awarding a high number of prizes....double check and make sure they are listed here, add to your my sweeps and check often.
Add them here if they are missing.
Watch the Winners Circle and follow their lead. I have won seeing a member post a win, and followed suit. That has worked many times for me when I might not have even realized that particular sweepstakes.

Can I whine on your wall too? This year has been pretty much a bust for me. Only a couple of tiny prizes that I couldn't use. Whaaaaaah.
You can whine here or in the original whiner's wall...looks like all whining should be done in Gripe/Vent, not in the Winner's Circle anymore;

I've been sweeping over a dozen years and don't have any trip wins (although I did win $1500 in airline vouchers from an instant win game 3 yrs. ago). Most of my wins are on the small side ($100 or less), but a few of those a month can make the time I spend entering worthwhile. Since I don't know how often you enter or if you are only entering for big items or not utilizing all types of sweeps, I can't say if you are doing anything wrong or not. But that's what you have to factor in. You need to try all methods and enter a lot!
