where's the win???!?!

New member
opened my mail box to find a very large sturdy cardboard envelope....had to zip open to reveal what would be inside....strange...no return address...i opened up the envelope to reveal and empty ...yes that is correct ...it was empty...no return address...preprinted postage from LA..:confused:.boo hoo...lol...has this ever happened to anyone else....no recourse i guess...good luck to all!!
 
How do you know it was a win if there is no return address and nothing inside?

i do not recieve much mail other than my usual bills and hopfully a win....it is an expensive, sturdy envelope, my name and address is auto type printed ...looks lke one that ususally may hold important papers?!?...lol....hope you have many wins!!

Aw, that is really unfortunate! I wish I could think of something helpful. Were you notified of any wins you did not yet receive? I guess that would be the only way you could try to figure out the source...but if it was a surprise win, then it remains a mystery. Or, if another member reads this and received a similar envelope, but with contents inside, that could be helpful - otherwise no clue!

Hope you have more wins soon, and they arrive intact!
 
I'd look for clues in MY address label - but it sounds like it could have been a car or travel brochure/pictures/etc.

thank you for your kind words....although the envelope was empty....it was great to think perhaps i won something....i hope that mabe another person recieved it and need/or wanted it more than i....which would still be a good thing!!....:)hope you get many wins!!!

See, I think I'm like you - I hope for the best {it IS a win darn it all!} but think the worst {brochure} so if I never find out for sure, I'm not too disappointed!

oh amy...i think that is brilliant...!!....now i wont be too disappointed....besides,....how could they possibly fit a car or yaht or mansion in that wee sturdy cardboard envelope...lol....enjoy your sweep wins!!! i know they are coming!!!

I dislike drama/dissension and try to be proactive to ward them off, but when something like an empty envelope shows? I consider it a loss of control & I really dislike that, so once I determine I can't discover what it was, I accept that I'll probably never know, and I let it go. Keeps me sane, lol!!! :p

great advice, amy....just like the song says..."let it go, let go..."lol....may you have many wins...!!!...i am new to this and am very pleased at the kind responses...thank you!!
