Where Do You Enter the Contests?

Hi, All :wave:

This week I started to give my husband, Bob, a ride to the bus stop (with the price of gas, it's worthwhile to pay $10 for a 30-day pass :headbang:). - The bus stop is not far from our house, but it means I have to wake up at 5:30 a.m. every morning - and that's okay with me. I read the paper when I get back to the house, water my plants on the covered patio, fill up the birdbath and dog bowl, and feed the birds (I have two birdfeeders not far from the covered patio and I usually put birdfood on the covered hot tub, too).

Then, I go get coffee :coffee:, my laptop (runs on batteries), and my cigarettes (yes, I am one of those evil smokers), and take all of them out to the table under the covered patio. By the time I get there and settle down, there are birds, birds, birds..... bluejays (3 of them), cardinals (2 pairs), sparrows (a lot of them), white winged doves (I counted 15 of them yesterday), a tufted titmouse (really!!!), mourning dove (2 of them), and a mockingbird. There is a tree not far from the house in the backyard that's sort of dead, but not really, and we have 2 ladderbacked woodpeckers making a hole/nest in it.

Then, I "get to work" entering my contests and sweepstakes through SA. On the covered patio, with the birds, they make it so much more pleasant when I see "sorry" in my IWs :laughing: It doesn't "change my luck" any, but the birds make me happy :sunny:

I don't know what I'll do if it rains (fat chance of that in Austin, Texas during the summer :laughing:), but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it :crazytongue:

I don't post often, but I just thought I would share this with my friends at SA. :cheers:

That sounds wonderful, ktshome, and SO much better than where/how I enter sweeps :love:

I enter sweeps in the house while doing laundry, in between mopping floors, scrubbing the kitchen, and cleaning the bathrooms. Sometimes I can see the neighbor taking a leak if he's on a bender :laughing:

I did, however, see my first bluejay of the season, yesterday. We put out a couple of pretty bird feeders upon Mother's request(she thinks everyone ought to have bird feeders out)and the birds are flocking to them in droves. I'm only keeping them out until my house becomes a target for poopy birdy bombs!
 
We have a tiny house for now until we move. So, room is limited. I sweep from a corner computer unit on a desktop computer. We have a laptop, but we only use that for travelling. I don't like using the laptop, because it just slows me down with those types of keyboards. Plus, I need to get a mouse for it; because those touch pads are absolutely horrible to work on! Then using Roboform only, I enter through that clicking through each passcard on the list.
 
I get up much earlier than my husband; therefore I do all my sweeps in the morning.

By the time my husband rises, I am all done and we get ready for our day!

I usually enter them, at home, once I wake up in the morning. I'll have Imeem blaring music and I can hear the parakeets chirping with the music and away I go.

My sweeps place is not nearly as glamorous as that. My computer desk is in front of a big window looking out to our front yard and the street. While sweeping, I usually watch tv, answer the phone for our home business and watch for the mailman, UPS and Fedex coming down the street.
