Where are all the daily winners?

There are several sweepstakes I'm entering that have daily winners but as of yet I haven't seen any winners. For instance: Acuvue is giving away a $100 Visa g.c. everyday but I haven't heard of any winners and the sweeps is ending soon. Clinique has two sweeps running and each one has three daily winners but I haven't seen any winners. GoodHousekeeping is giving away a $125 amex g.c. each day- again no winners. With all these daily prizes being awarded you would think we would see more winners.

:sunny: Although a sweeps may have daily winners it doesn not necessarily mean that they announce daily winners. They may not notify anyone until the sweeps is over.

Looks like they do draw daily - but don't forget, SA is not the only sweeps site & not everyone posts wins :)

lidarkside, why don't you post your wins? If I was lucky enough to win something I would want to share my good fortune with others.

Should I even tell you about the special army unit that could be deployed here on American soil a month before the elections!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :O

Remember what happened in 1968 with the war protestors?!

Okay, baby steps! That was probably too much for one day!

{fingers in my ears} LALALALA I can't HEAR you!!! :crazytongue:  :crazytongue:

I actually am not surprised at the lengths people in power will go to to maintain their power :nono:

I also know when people project worst-case onto others, they will stray - just look at the ongoing attempts to demonize tea partiers!!! :nono:

I recently learned my Aunt is a tea partier :sunny: & I knew what they were about from day 1 :sunny: so I never believed the projections put on them by people who would be all the things they accuse them of!!! :nono:

The opposition to the Tea Party have been putting plants within the group to make remarks, statements, etc., to make it look like these people are nuts, racists, and what not. This is a very common tactic.

I used to be called over-the-top for the way I talked about the government 15+ years ago, and now everyone's talking like that.

In these times, it's very important to watch what you say or type on any electronic device.

On top of that, Obama just added 16,000 more IRS agents. I'm sure that means they're going to be looking at people's tax returns more closely and performing more audits.

These are becoming very scary times.

"These are becoming very scary times."

But remember, there was a real fear on the left that Bush was not going to relinquish power - just like today the right thinks the same of Obama.

We NEED those voices to keep us from traveling down that road IMHO.

There is a very fine line between projecting worst-case scenarios onto others because it is what we'd do, and recognizing that if left unchecked, those in power will end up subverting our very way of life.

That's why we have tea partiers - neither the left nor the right made any attempt to keep us from traveling down that road & they finally see it.

I was in the Navy for 11 years & got a crash course in politicking :crazytongue:

All I see is a puppet where corporate America pulls his strings, and I've seen exactly what road each country has taken once socializing healthcare; most of which has more to do with other things than healthcare. Look what happened right after Obama signed the bill, under the health care bill, the government took away student loans from banks to be controlled by the government. Now, what do student loans have to do with healthcare?!

People seem to have forgotten that this is a republic not a democracy.

...and Karl Marx, a known communist, said that there were stages leading to communism.

Democracy, Socialism, and then Communism

I've never felt this worried, scared, and concerned in my whole life.

Student loans can still be offered by banks (and likely will be for graduate school and higher) however they just won't be offering gov. subsidized loans (ie Stafford Loans). All my student loans were through the government and I've been nothing but happy. No fine print ....no changing rates. They made it very clear from the beginning what to expect and there were no surprises. Except allowing me to consolidate my first 3 years into one loan with a LOWER rate. Most people don't complain that the government is educating our children so what's the problem with them being involved at a higher level. Many of the best colleges/universities/tech schools in america are those that are funded by our tax dollars. That's something to be proud of.

Sometimes I post my wins, sometimes not. It depends on how busy I am. Little teeny wins I don't usually post anymore.
