Sounds like fun! Hope you catch some fish, and maybe even some gold.

We celebrate with a bunch of our neighbors, having a big potluck outside. My neighbors are all super and go all out, cooking lots of good food. I will bake "Monster candy and nut cookies" (from the Land O'Lakes website which I found from sweeping) using colorful M&Ms for the kids and... for the grown-ups Cassis Crisps (cookies from Martha Stewart, also via sweeping bringing the website to my attention). Also for the grown-ups, I am making strawberries soaked in cassis and will serve them in wine goblets (Jacques Pepin's recipe). It's fun. I have both cookie doughs chilling in the refrig, just mixed them and I'm taking a break now.

Hope everyone has a good time, whatever you do.

Flowers on the graves of family members that served our country.

That is really nice.

For many years, we participated with the scouts (boy and girl), making and putting flower leis on the graves at two large cemeteries.
