What phone number do you use for sweepstakes forms?

I have always used my house phone because I don't really want to give my cell phone. The problem is...I'm never really at home to answer my home phone.

It seems like most sweepstakes notify you of your win via email, mail, or the prize just appears, so I don't really worry about missing winning calls too much.

I have seen a couple of people say they use google voice..so I am thinking about trying that.

I use google voice because it sends a text to your cell phone when someone leaves a message. :)

When I had unlimited on my cell phone, I used that, but recently we went to Page Plus Cellular's $12 a month plan with only 250 Min, 250 Text, and 10MB Data, so I rarely use it for sweeps now. With working from home, my home phone is convenient.

I use my cell #. It has voicemail and its always with me. So far Ive had no harassing or telemarketing phone calls.

In 8 years, I've never been notified I won by phone, I just had follow up to email calls :)

Then again, I have my ringer off, and the volume on the answering machine all the way down, so who knows?

I DO check rules and I skip sweeps that *only* notify by phone, so I seriously doubt I've ever actually missed a winning call. :crazytongue:

This is a great idea!! :headbang: I cannot believe I have not seen this before.

I usually use 2 cell phones but my prepaid one is about to be disconnected.

I think this will be a great replacement. I just signed up. Still learning more about it. We will see how it works out.

I use my land line ........ we screen all calls and have an answering machine that will take messages. Get about a dozen calls a day that won't leave a message so I figure their junk anyway so why bother calling them back.

I reverse look up those #'s and they are *always* telemarketers/political :crazytongue:

I use my work number! I work in a pharmacy so if it's a telemarketer they always hang up. Have never received a call at work though!

I only use my cell phone. I don't have home phone service, couldn't see any use for it when all of us have cell phones with us at home or away. Got tired of all the political recorded calls taking up all the space on my home phone answering machine.

If you have a call from an unknown person, go to www.whitepages.com/reverse_phone, and put in the number.
