What happens if eprize decides they do not want to award you a prize?

I am really curious to know what happens if eprize or one of the other prize fulfillment companies decides to deny you a prize - i.e. - they think you had multiple e-mails entered, don't meet rule requirements, etc..

Do they e-mail you? Or do they just not send it and tell you when you e-mail to ask what happened? Or just not respond at all? Anyone have some experience with this?

I do not have a problem right now, I am just wondering since the few small instant wins I have had have been difficult to get the stuff even with following the rules to a T, and I have had several prizes just never show up. It almost seems like they won't send anything unless you fight for it.

I have never had a problem with eprize. They take a long time to send prizes sometimes but thats typical I think. I would think that if you didnt meet the requirements they would notify ya. The very first prize I won, a superman puzzle from quacker oats, took 8 mths to get. If you have your winning email you can email them and ask about prize. But it takes sometimes 8-10 weeks after a promotion ends to get the prize. so, if the instant is still ongoing it could be awhile before you see it. good luck to ya.

When I first started entering eprize was on a crackdown, and if I remember correctly, they notified people that they were disqualified, not only from sweeps they had won, but they were blocked from entering their sweeps. Now, this was almost 3 years ago and I really didn't know what people were talking about as I had just started, but I think this is correct. Maybe GT or Amyshulk will zip in and help with this as they have been at this longer than I have and they may remember the discussions better.

I know e-prize will say 8 - 12 weeks after the sweep ends before you will receive your prize. It is usually 16 - 20 weeks after the sweep ends before the prize arrives. Also, please not that most instants run for several months and prizes are not mailed until weeks or even months after the sweep ends.

Sorry I cannot be more help.

There is a lot involve with fulfillment that can go wrong. It can take months to mail out all the prizes. Then they have to go through all the stuff sent back and award new winners. Repeat until all done.

Blame it on the post office. I have tracked a gift to Oregon which I could have tag teamed some friends and got there in a car in one day. the package ended up everywhere but the right place and then she had to go to the office and beg for it.

If you are disqualified they are supposed to notify you. Read the rules carefully. You may not even know that you technically are disqualified. If you have a brother who works for a sponsor then you would be disqualified even if you do not even know he exists.

Small prizes can take a year to show up and I have seen at another site that reported more than once. I use www.PopDrops.com for screenies. Set up a win file and save screenshots of the win and anything else. If you did win and do not get the prize contact the fulfillment company. If that does not work then the sponsors and finally lawsuit.

Thanks for the replies! I am really enjoying this site, I have been sweeping on my own for several years as I am out of work due to medical problems. It's so nice to have people who you can ask questions about this stuff!!

I have had several wins that I have been stiffed on - I won a $50 restaurant GC from a IWG from Verizon about 2 or 3 years ago, got the confirmation e-mail, but they never sent the GC and ignored all my e-mails, and I e-mailed every possibly related address I could find several times. I won mascara from an IWG for buybeauty.com about a year ago, same deal, got the confirmation but they never sent it. I e-mailed multiple times and would get a one sentence response of "I will look into it", and nothing else. Also I won a body spray and bracelet from a IWG on 02/07 from Healing Garden. I have the confirmation code and all, and I cannot get any response from e-mailing the only address I can find on the site. So unfair!!! :cussing:

Okay, I am done ranting for now - LOL!!

Thank you so much for your help and encouragement! I actually just had a great experience, I posted it in the mailman section. Guess my rant must have rattled the scales of karma and made them balance, it happened just a few hours after!
