Sometimes I find sweeps on facebook, no, this does not pertain to SA..& I cannot say the site...but

today I tried to go to this other sweeping site, and lo and behold it told me I was blocked by ip or something like that.

when I messaged their facebook page they made something up about me
owning a sweeping site *which I do not um no wayy never ever do I own a website* and that I post "their" sweeps all over my sites. they even named two random ones...


Can anyone believe it, I am still disgusted. I rarely even visited this site compared to my other regular sites for sweeping...

DOes some divine intervention want me to quit sweeping. b/c I am not going to.

Seriously, if this is not a case of what would you do. well, what would YOU do??!

Flabergasted honestly! Increduously I am dumbfounded. I guess I get a small chuckle or their paragraph they typed before deleting it after thinking about it, I cannot say this website, buuut

I was going to contact the BBB, but they wanted an address. Which I couldn't find. My family could not believe them either.
Seems when ppl. try to get ahead in this world nope,..just the principle of it all, well, I am done venting, just wondered if anyone had ever heard of anything like that
man. I wouldn't go back to this site after they treated me so poorly if they actually drove to my house and handed me $... literally!
I couldn't live with myself either if I was them.

Keep in mind, it was a site not SA l-o-l.
 
I came here to SA after I was also accused of owning a sweeping site/being a competitor, & things I had said on a private board were twisted to paint me in the worst possible light so yes, I know this can/does happen.

I was banned from that site on New Years eve of 2005/2006 after being a member almost 2 years - AFAIK, helpful posts I had started that were stickied by the mods are still up :p

I searched around and found SA & even though I never did find out the why, I am grateful because that site is a vipers den of hateful spiteful, selfish people and people at SA are polar opposites & I much prefer SA!!!

Not even sure why I cared since every sweep gets posted all around the Internet if it's very good.

Guess it was the principle of the matter...I was still mad this morning so
I wrote a BBB complaint on them and hit send, who knows but I have forgotten it really.

I figure I must not let my former success "sweeping" be ruined!

I read message boards for sweeping...

The strange thing they said the last thing I did was I supposedly 'took' one of their sweeps not open to the general public.... lol.

Oh well, if I immersed myself in bad stuff I guess I would not get out of bed and keep trying!

I try to go where I feel welcome. And this site is very very wonderful!!! :)
 
Sounds to me like they're just nutters. I say right on for reporting them, and now consign them to the oblivion of your mind, since they don't deserve another moment of your thoughts.
 
Yes, Amy, you're still on there. I'm not a paying member but read the forums. A lot of griping and complaining but some just keep hanging in there. Why I don't know!!!
 
In the nature vs nurture debate, I've seen 1st hand that the environment CAN affect people in a negative way, and if [like me] they are "fixer/pleaser" types they WILL "go along to get along"

On the flip side - I've known some who are not happy unless they are Unhappy - my dad is a prime example. He would get all het up if things were going too smoothly & create drama. I hated it!
