weird link of the day

I actually do have a zombie plan, although I didn't take the time to write it down or anything. I was going to hijack an aircraft to Alaska with guns, ammo, supplies. Reasoning is that zombies are already dead. Cold. They will freeze. Not to death apparently but literally freeze, big zombie Popsicle. Might bring a dog or two with me for hunting purposes. If I die there at least I didn't die a freaking walking corpse.

On a side note I been playing dead rising for 360, so much fun destroying the horde.

I like the way you think  can never be too prepared.

This Way Up: A Black-Comic Tale of the Wonder and Pointlessness of Human Life

This Way Up, directed by Adam Foulkes and Alan Smith, was a 2009 Academy-Award Nominee for Best Animated Short Film. It played at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, and has received more than eight awards at film festivals throughout the world. This computer-animated short is a macabre, black-comic film that follows a pair of strange, top-hatted undertakers who had suffered a terrible catastrophe when a huge falling boulder flattened their hearse. A seemingly unending series of hazards confronts the undertakers as they make their way across the countryside with just a coffin for company.

The odd-couple is compelled to get the coffin and its dearly departed contents into a hallowed burial ground, even if that means combating a lethal chain reaction of dangers, while enduring their own epic voyage to the gates of hell and back again. This Way Up reveals more of both the wonder and the pointlessness of human life than most full-length feature films.

Scroll down to watch the short. It looks amazing.

What your tattoo locations say about you

http://www.cracked.com/funny-298-tattoos/

I guess im a cute little princess with a tattoo accessory. mine is actually up a little bit higher than what they show and its not one that everyone has.

I don't have any, but if I were to get one I would get it in the "buying a drink" zone  My hubs calls tattoos there a "tramp stamp". It's pretty contrary to my actual personality... maybe that's why I like it so much and have never had the guts to actually do it

Anyway, love this thread! Keep 'em coming!

in 50 years or so there will be a bunch of old ladies in the nursing home with tramp stamps. if you want one you should do it. I like my tattoo. I have had it for 14 years and dont regret it. I would like to get another one but just havent found something I like enough to put on my body. no girly things like butterflies and birds its just not my thing. :crazytongue:

old ladies with stamp tramps in all the nursing homes, That's funny. Back to freezing zombies, what about global warming? What happens when they thaw out?

seriously, i think zombie apocalypse would be an awesome way for the world to end if it had to come down to something. as long as they were like not 28 days later zombies, that might be a little too intense and hard to survive a long time

Top 10 Ways to Provoke a Geek Argument

http://www.wired.com/geekdad/2009/06/top-10-ways-to-provoke-a-geek-argument/

Geeks, as a general rule, are pretty easy-going. We like to think things through, so passionate confrontations aren’t commonplace for us. When we get well and properly provoked, though, watch out! We won’t stop talking until every last point that we can think of has been made at least twice. So, what do you say to provoke a geek? Glad you asked!

10. “No real programmer would ever use PHP.” - This won’t work for every geek, of course, but for those it works on, it should work really well.

9. “Comic books are just for kids!” - I’m sure you’ve heard this one before—I know I certainly heard it often enough in high school, and even though it’s even less true now than it was then, I’m sure comic book afficionados still hear it today.

8. “Role-playing games are just for people who can’t deal with real life.” - There are, sadly, still a lot of people who think anyone who plays D&D must live in his parents’ basement and bathe once a month. Such people must be put straight, and immediately!

7. “The Pirates of the Caribbean movies are so realistic!” - I doubt many people actually believe this, but there are an awful lot of misconceptions about pirates out there, so you never know.

6. “Yeah, I got an Xbox 360 so my daughter could play Hello Kitty games. Is it really good for anything else?” - We’ve hit the ones that are hard for me even to type, now…

5. “Mac, Windows, or Linux? Does it really make a difference?” - An argument so old its original form was probably first written down in hieroglyphs, I know, but I don’t know a single geek it wouldn’t work on—myself included.

4. “The Ewoks were the best thing about the original Star Wars trilogy.” / “Greedo shot first!” - I couldn’t decide between the two. If one doesn’t work, I’ll bet the other one would.

3. “Tolkien? Ehhh, I prefer Terry Brooks!” - I almost feel like I should argue with myself just for writing that. I’m going to let the top two stand for themselves.

2. “Joss Whedon is a hack!”

1. “I don’t see what’s so bad about DRM

This one is a little morbid.. beware

Teenage girl dug up to be 'corpse bride'

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...2/Teenage-girl-dug-up-to-be-corpse-bride.html

The suspects included a grieving father who allegedly paid his four accomplices around £2,700 pounds to find a female to be his son's companion in the afterlife.

The men were caught after unearthing the remains of a teenage girl who had poisoned herself after failing her university entrance exams last year, a newspaper in Xianyang in China's Shaanxi province reported.

In rural China, superstitious villagers have for centuries sought out the bodies of recently deceased woman to be ghost brides for young men who die single.

Marriage ceremonies are conducted for the two corpses, and the bride is placed in the same grave as her husband.

Under Chairman Mao's rule, officials made strenuous efforts to stamp out the ghoulish practice but it has since resurfaced in some rural areas.

Last year, a gang in southern China was arrested for strangling young women to sell as ghost brides when the supply of female corpses in their area ran short.
omg. That is crazy.
