I've been infected multiple times with this 'bug' WebFun. I'd like to find out which sweepstakes is doing it so I can avoid getting it again. Anyone know?

I've never heard of WebFun and searching here at SA and online I find no mention of it? :scratch:

HOWEVER... FunWebProducts looks nasty and you'll have to go to a safety site to get walked thru removal - I link one in this thread:

If you decide to post at G4:

The best way to post is to put the name of your problem in the title instead of "help", the regulars will skip over "help" posts.

Give as much info as possible; system specs (XP or 98... & if you have antivirus, firewall, etc...) problem & when it started (after a d/l, clicked on a link, visited a webpage, etc....) & what you have already tried.

Please remember to post back on what did/didn't work & thank those that tried to help.
 
You're right Amy, it's Funweb, I'm ditzy. LOL. Anyway, I can get rid of it with Malware, but I keep getting *reinfected* and I'm not sure 'where' I'm getting infected. I was hoping maybe someone here knew which sweepstakes link was doing it. Then I can just skip entering that particular one. Thanks for the reply :)
It's nice to be back. I took some time off. This is the ONLY sweepstakes site I use, and it's the best IMO.
Is there a get-together, or a once a year conference/meet-up? I'd love to meet you & the other members.
