WalMart win?

I received an email this morning claiming to contain a link to my $500 WalMart GC prize. The email did not mention my name or the sponsor of the sweeps. It came from takesomesweeps.com, which I don't recognize, but appears to be a sweepstakes site rather than a fulfillment company.

Does anyone recognize this company? Is it the scam I think it is?

UPDATE: I received another email from them a few minutes ago.

I’ve been trying to reach out to you. I was recently updated that as much as $500.00 can be forwarded to you for completing the attached surveys. Please use the button below to redeem your payout.

I've decided this is spam and have reported it as such.

takesomesweeps.com *looks* legit but it seems to be an odd company (since it is new) for Walmart to do business with.

Per the walmart survey site, their sweepstakes is administered by American Sweepstakes & Promotion Co., Inc. (Sweepstakes Company | Expert Contest & Sweepstakes Administration per BBB).

I'm thinking you might be right in being suspicious. Interested in hearing what others think.

If it's not a sweepstakes you recognize completing in past then it is a scam.

I have also received lot these of emails in past too and if you win a prize they're going to be emailing you telling you your name and from the sweepstakes you entered if
you do recognize completing it along with forms sometimes that you have to print and fill out and send or fax to them to get your prize .
They don't always sends
forms but sometimes they do at times for verification or tax purposes.
